In the centre of Kongens Lyngby just next to Lyngby shopping centre you’ll find Kinopalæet, a modern cinema for the whole family. On the ground floor you can get a meal before the film. Eat a delicious sandwich at Sunset Boulevard, a juicy burger at American Burger and Steak or a hot Thai meal at WokShop. You can also visit some of the other great restaurants at Kinopalæet. On the first floor you can indulge your sweet tooth at our store, here is plenty to choose from whether you want pick-and-mix, chocolate or warm popcorn. We also have a small café on the first floor where you can buy hot beverages and some snacks. Here you can also sit down and relax before the film begins.
Our 12 cinema screens are located at the second floor. 10 of the viewing rooms have normal screens and many of them luxury chairs which can be electronically controlled. The last two rooms are a 4D viewing room and a Supreme viewing room. The Supreme viewing room is equipped with luxury seats, Dolby Atmos sound system and a wall-to-wall mega screen which together creates the ultimate film experience. In the 4D viewing room you are in for an exciting cinema experience. Not only is the film shown in 3D, but the room also has different equipment installed that gives the illusion of being part of the film such as moving seats and water spray. These elements give a totally unique cinema experience.
With its 12 screens Kinopalæet cinema is among the biggest cinemas in Denmark. This means the cinema has the capacity to show a range of different films in a range of different genres. It should, therefore, be possible to find a film everybody wants to watch whether you are on a date or a family outing. You can also watch operas on a screen in Kinopalæet or go to other special events.
Besides the 4D viewing room, all other rooms have seating for wheelchairs.
There is parking outside of Kinopalæet and basement parking under, both are paid parking.
